Sensor

Valve

The Nowa valves are the essential part of the Nowa systems. When a leak is detected, a close signal is sent to the valve to shut off the main water line limiting the damages to a small puddle near the leak.

Since 2010, the valve design has been improved to be the most reliable automatic shut off valve on the market. The valve body is all in stainless steel and certified NSF61 which makes it durable and not harmful for human water consumption. The full port ball valve design removes all water restriction. Valve sizes 1-1/4", 1-1/2" & 2" Larger valve sizes up to 8” available upon request.

Other Nowa Detectors

• The perimeter detector is a cable that can detect water over 6-foot distance. It’s ideal for encircling a water heater or covering the space underneath appliances. Cables can be connected in sequence to cover an entire room.
• Mini detectors are used to extend the detection area into the tightest spaces. Their smaller size and 1.5-m (5') cable allow them to fit anywhere with the utmost discretion. Mini detectors need to be connected to a triangle detector to work.Well suited for both homes and small to mid-sized businesses.
• The motion detector identifies the movement of a person within a specific area by sensing the infrared energy emitted from a body as it moves across the sensor’s field of view. The water valve will close after a preset motionless time and re-open once motion is detected.
